TGILastdayofschoolFriday! This weeks quote. “The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.” Coach Vince Lombardi
As we congratulate the Class of 2016 and look forward to the official beginning of summer, lets all make a pact to make this summer the best ever. If you’ve been planning that special trip, take it. Thinking of reading the newest best seller, read it. Enjoying a great concert, book it. Eating at the trendiest restaurant (I mean Lynch’s, of course, lol) then go. Life is too short to spend wishing and dreaming about what we might have done. To the parents of the Class of 2016 their feelings right now I’m sure are “where did the time go?” And the answer is always the same. Time moves on. Time doesn’t wait for the next best thing to come along. So let this be the summer to remember. And along the way lets teach others about the humanity we have inside of us. Let’s help others! It could be something as insignificant as a smile to someone who needs it, holding the door for the next person coming in behind you, or letting Lynch’s know who needs a break, a night out, so we can send them a free certificate for their family to come and enjoy our food and just get a night out. It’s the little gestures that make life special and there is no greater joy than helping others.
Tonight we have a special dine to donate for Lynch’s Serves, Inc. Tonight we expand our program to help even more people. When my Dad was in the hospital the restaurant would send him dinner every day. I don’t know if it helped him heal but I do know that it broke up the monotony of the hospital stay. So Lynch’s Serves will now provide a free meal to those who are in a hospital or homebound. If you are going to the hospital just let us know what your patient likes and whatever dietary restrictions there are. We will have the meal prepared for your pick up. Its another small way that Lynch’s serves the community. And as a special treat for coming in tonight, we have #RoddyHarrington and Sarah playing live music at 8pm! Always a treat and what better way to start summer!
Thank you for your loyal support. May God continue to bless each and every one of us. Have a great week.
